CLARE COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Two men have been charged in connection with an alleged drug deal gone bad.

The Clare County Sheriff’s Department said that on Nov. 13, an 18-year-old gave the suspects a large amount of cash to buy drugs.

Investigators say when the deal fell apart, Brody Vaden, 19, and Justin Baugher, 18, both of Farwell, robbed the victim at gunpoint.

The victim took a picture of the suspect’s license plate, and the suspects were found shortly after the incident by a Michigan State Police Trooper at Jared’s Express Mart in Farwell.

Both suspects were charged with armed robbery. At last check they were locked up in the Clare County Jail.
