Two suspects arrested in home invasion, assault

FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

Two suspects, Phillip Everett, 23, and Derek Dale, 31, have been charged with breaking into a home, and assaulting the people inside.

It happened on Nov. 8 at 10:30 p.m. in Flint.

Police were called to the 2400 block of Dakota, and when they got there, the victims were holding one of the suspects inside the home.

The other ran off, but after a chase was captured by Michigan State Police.

It was reported that the victims in the home had been assaulted by the suspects, who were armed, and did know the suspects.

Everett has been charged with home invasion, resisting and obstructing police. Derek has been charged with home invasion.
