GLADWIN COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

A man accused of stabbing another man to death has pleaded no contest.

Dan Dombroski, 52, was reported missing on Oct. 12 after he was reportedly seen last on Oct. 6.

The Gladwin County Sheriff Departments said on Nov. 17 a suspect in Dombroski’s disappearance admitted to being involved in the man’s death, and gave investigators the location of his body.

His body was found in a wooded thicket on the edge of a swamp area in Gladwin County’s Beaverton Township.

Chad Ballard, 27,  was already behind bars at the time Dombroski's body was discovered, pleaded no contest to second-degree murder on May 12.

Ballard, who is already serving time for sex crimes, could face life in prison when sentenced on June 6.
