TRAVERSE CITY, MI (WNEM) -

Mid-Michigan native Michael Moore is offering his home in Traverse City to Syrian refugees following statements by Governor Snyder saying he was putting efforts on hold to bring those refugees to Michigan.

On his Facebook page, Moore posted a letter, saying he will contact the State Department to let them know he will provide a safe spot for a Syrian refugee couple. Moore calls Gov. Snyder "anti-American" and says his action is "disgraceful". Moore also says that while his apartment is small, it has cable, Wi-Fi and a new dishwasher. Plus, Moore says no “haters” live on his floor.
