HOWELL, MI (AP) -

A downtown Howell pub has added a hair salon and lounge to offer customers haircuts, alcoholic beverages and food all in one stop.

The Livingston Daily Press & Argus reports that Moe's BarBar Shop is known in the area for burgers, soups, Polish night on Tuesdays and seafood bisque on Fridays. It is owned by Lance and Paige Lumpiesz.

They hired Denise Maule to cut hair. She says salon customers who want liquor or beer may request a plastic cover for their glasses to keep out any falling hair.

The Michigan Liquor Control Commission approved a liquor license for the salon in June. The Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs approved Moe's cosmetology license on Nov. 12.
