CLARE COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

A man from Chicago has been charged, accused of assaulting a Clare County man with a knife.

Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the 1700 block of Janet Drive in Clare County’s Hayes Township on Dec. 7.

Investigators say a 31-year-old Harrison man said that 28-year-old Joey Hines pulled out a knife during an argument.

Deputies found Hines, with the knife, outside the home.

He was arraigned on Dec. 8 on the charge of assault with a dangerous weapon.

No one was hurt.
