UPDATE: Elicia Graham was arraigned on Jan. 29 for the hit-and-run incident that left an 8-year-old girl injured on Dec. 9.

Graham was arraigned for driving on a suspended license and causing serious injury, and failure to stop and identify self at a serious accident. Both charges carry a maximum sentence of five years in prison.

Graham is out on a personal bond and has a settlement conference scheduled for Feb. 12.

On Dec. 9, at the Bay City Walmart, Andrew Bailor's daughter, Trinity, was pushing a cart into a cart corral when a car hit her.

"I was so angry and adrenaline was pumping at the time I wanted to chase the car down and beat him," Bailor said.

The car took off.

"It hurt a lot," Trinity said.

Bailor posted a picture of his daughter on Facebook in an attempt to track down the driver of that vehicle.

"I just wonder why they took off you know? I mean I can understand somebody getting scared but you ran over a child," Bailor said.

Trinity had road rash, three broken fingers and a broken thumb.

"I have no idea what their motivation was to take off, but that's pretty disheartening you know somebody is just going to run over your child and just leave," Bailor said.

Police were able to identify who the driver was because of credit card information and security video.
