LANSING, MI (WNEM) -

If lawmakers in Lansing continue on their current path, straight-ticking voting, may be a thing of the past for voters in Michigan.

House Republicans have passed a bill that would make Michigan the 41st state in the United States to ban straight party voting with a single stroke.

It has already passed the House and but it has yet to face the Senate.
