FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

A police K-9 was shot on Tuesday afternoon.

State police pulled over a car on Flint’s north side at 3 p.m.

A passenger with a gun took off, so police called in the K-9s, one of which is named Zeke.

During the search, a pit bull attacked Zeke.

An officer shot and killed the pit bull, but the bullet grazed Zeke.

He's doing fine after a few stitches and police caught the armed suspect.
