FENTON, MI (WNEM) -

Many Michigan State University fans proudly wear green and white, but one local man takes his love of the Spartans to the next level. David Durant is a superfan, and follows his beloved team from game to game, whether home or away.

“We love it! Anything that’s green we say ‘go green apple, go green,’ yeah, we love it.”

Durant, the owner of Uncle Ray’s Dairyland in Fenton, is now planning a trip to Texas, to watch his team in the Cotton Bowl. They’ll be taking on Alabama’s Crimson Tide.

“You can never take a play off. The Spartans are ready for the big dogs. We played them back in 2010 and they gave us a whooping. But Spartans are coming this time, they don’t fear anybody.”
