BAY COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

One person is dead after a three-vehicle accident.

It happened shortly before 6 p.m. on Dec. 29 on S. Huron Road in Bay County.

Officials said Roger Greanya, 50, of Standish, was heading northbound and hit slush on the road, fishtailed and spun out, hitting a Ford Fusion driven by Ethan Deardoff,20, of Bay City. Greanya's vehicle, an S-10, continued on into the path of a southbound Chevy Silverado, driven by Daniel Jablonski, 46, hitting it head-on.

Greanya was pronounced dead at the scene. Five people total were involved in the crash.

An 18-year-old passenger in the Silverado was injured and transported to Covenant Hospital. He is in stable condition.

The accident remains under investigation although investigators believe road conditions played a part in the crash.
