$300 million jackpot stokes player's lottery dreams

“I'm feeling lucky.”

Ray Brown doesn't hesitate to spend two dollars to possibly get at least $300 million dollars in return.

That's the jackpot of Wednesday night's Powerball lottery, and the high prize is creating quite the buzz

“I want to be one of those guys that just buys one ticket and wins it all,” Brown said.

And as confident as some may be, the odds of winning the jackpot are 292,201,338 to 1.

“Yeah it's slim to none, but we have to take a chance at life,” said Kevin Franklin.

At Conlee's Travel Center in Birch Run, even employees had to take a chance at the big payout

“So I'll probably get one before I go home today,” said Janet O’Dell.

And for many, it's nice to think of what they would do with all that money.

“Life, the life of luxury,” Franklin said.

O’Dell said, “I'd probably donate a lot to the cancer society.”

Some have their favorite numbers they play every week, some just circle auto-pick.

Brown said he's just sticking to his one shot at the big bucks

“I know people pay $20 and $50 but not me, I don't like to gamble too much,” Brown said.
