Police: Alcohol and speed believed to be factor in crash

FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

Four people were injured in a single car accident on Sunday.

It happened on the 1100 block of S. Saginaw Street in Flint shortly before midnight.

The vehicle left the roadway, struck a light pole and then a tree, police said.

The driver and three passengers were transported to Hurley Medical Center for treatment. The driver was listed in serious condition and one of the rear passengers was listed in critical condition. The other two passengers were in good condition.

All occupants were male. The driver was 27 and the passengers were 19, 21, and 29.

Police believe alcohol and speed were a factor in the crash.
