Mike Rowe: Bank robbery suspect isn't me, although I share resem - WNEM TV 5

It’s said that everyone has a twin. Sometimes, as Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs found out, your doppelganger could be a criminal.

Rowe took to his Facebook page after police in Medford, Oregon, posted a picture of a bank robber that looks eerily similar to the TV host.

In his usual tongue-in-cheek fashion, Rowe acknowledged the resemblance, and then dispelled any rumors that he may have picked a new line of work.

True, I am often attired in a sweatshirt and ball cap, and yes, I do share a certain resemblance with the culprit. I've also been spotted in Medford on more than once occasion, (a lovely town by any standard.) However, I am not “5'6"- 5'8" tall with a small to medium build.” The last time I was 5’6” - 5’8” I was in the 6th grade. And the "small to medium" ship sailed some time ago.

Rowe went on to provide an alternate theory to people's claims the suspect is "an idiot" because he failed to wear a mask during the robbery. Saying instead perhaps he is “a clever person of below average height wearing a Mike Rowe Mask." Because, apparently, the masks do exist.
