State consolidates agencies to address water crisis

FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

The state announced on Thursday, an effort to consolidate several agencies, focused on the water crisis.

The Joint Information Center in Lansing is a one-stop location for the people of Flint.

They can contact the Joint Information Center at michigan.gov/flint water to find out what resources might be available, and to get answers to any questions they might have about the Flint water crisis.

"We know that this incident is about people, and we want to make sure we are clear how seriously we are taking this matter," said MSP Capt. Chris Kelenske.

    The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services confirmed a bakery food worker at the Meijer store located at 1015 Pickard Street in Mt. Pleasant was diagnosed with the illness.
