Police search for man in connection to bank robbery

ST. CLAIR COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Police are searching for a suspect in an armed bank robbery.

A white male robbed a bank in Brockway Township about 10:15 on Thursday. That’s in St. Clair County.

It happened at the Tri-County Bank on N. Brockway Road.

The suspect, assumed to be in his late 50s or early 60s, had a gun and demanded money from the clerk, police said.

Once the suspect received the money he ran out of the bank and left in a Chevy pickup heading eastbound on Oatman Road.

The pickup is a late 90s or mid 2000s model, police said. The Chevy is two tone, with dark blue on top and bottom and silver in the center.

The suspect is 6’ and about 180 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a blue ski mask, a black pea coat, blue jeans and brown boots.

No one was injured during the incident.
