FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

Police are investigating a break-in at a city’s executive offices.

On Dec. 28, an employee at Flint’s City Hall discovered one of the vacant offices had been broken into.

“The video doesn’t show anything,” said Flint Police Chief James Tolbert. “Officers are now doing a security survey.”

There has been speculation as to whether documents regarding the city’s ongoing water crisis were stolen.

“The office that was broken into is where some water files are kept,” said Mayor Karen Weaver. “However, at this point, it’s hard to tell if any files were taken. The only thing we know for sure was stolen is a TV.”

No other offices were disturbed in the incident.
