Posted: Updated:

A Mid-Michigan woman has been arrested after allegedly stealing a TV.

The Clayton Township Police Department said the Owosso woman and another person stole the TV to support their heroin addiction.

The woman has been charged with a felony larceny from a building.

The incident happened in the area of Lennon and Elms in Clayton Township. That’s in Genesee County.

The woman went to her former residence to retrieve some clothing, police said.

A neighbor allegedly saw the woman and another person load a 55 inch TV into a van and called police.

Officers responded and arrested both suspects and recovered the stolen television, police said.
