FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

Five churches have joined the effort to get water to residents.

Metropolitan Baptist Church, Vernon Chapel AME Church, Christ Fellowship Baptist Church, Saints of God Church and Mt. Zion Baptist Church have all joined the effort to get water to residents.

Many have expressed concern about the elderly and other in the community not having access to clean water and water filters.
