CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) -

Relatives of a couple who was beaten to death in their Macomb County home are offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible in the slayings.

The bodies of James and Christy McKeogh were discovered Friday afternoon in their home in Clinton Township. An autopsy performed over the weekend determined that they died of blunt force trauma.

Police Chief Fred Posavets says there were no signs of forced entry or a struggle, leading investigators to believe that the suspect may have known the couple.

Police say Christy McKeogh's cellphone and possibly some cash were missing from the home.

Anyone with information regarding the double homicide is asked to contact Clinton Township police.

An investigation is ongoing.
