CARO, MI (WNEM) -

Police have recovered a stolen Trailblazer, two motorcycles and other stolen items.

Troopers from the Michigan State Police Caro Post were dispatched to M-53 near Airport Road on Jan. 10 for a trailblazer in a ditch.

The Trailblazer was also pulling an enclosed trailer that had two Harley Davidson motorcycles and several other parts from Harley Davidson motorcycles, police said.

The driver fled the scene before police arrived.

The investigation revealed the Trailblazer was stolen from Ogemaw County and the motorcycles and miscellaneous parts were reported stolen from across the state, police said.

The trailer contained hundreds of Harley Davidson parts and power tools.

Police do not know if the trailer is stolen because the identifying numbers have been scraped off.

The trailer is 15 feet in length and was once red. It has since been painted grey, police said.
