DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) -

Triple A Michigan says gas prices statewide have gone up by about 5 cents in the past week.

The Dearborn-based auto club says the average price for self-serve regular unleaded gasoline was about $1.66 per gallon on Sunday. That's about 45 cents less than at the same time a year earlier.

AAA Michigan surveys daily fuel prices at 2,800 gas stations across the state. The lowest average price was about $1.62 per gallon in the metro Detroit area, while the highest average was about $1.69 in the Lansing/East Lansing area.
