FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

Flint's getting some relief thanks to the Toledo School District.

It delivered three truck loads, carrying more than 25 pallets of water to Greater Holy Temple on Tuesday.

School district workers also helped unload the donated bottles.

Assistant principal James Jones said helping out the Vehicle City was an easy decision.

“We got all this water together because it's in our vision and our mission that we are to care for each other and our neighbors we saw that the residents in Flint were under duress and we're just trying to lend a helping hand and do the best we can,” Jones said.

Jones said he wants residents in Flint to know the people of Toledo are praying for them.
