Millions of people tune in to the Super Bowl for the game and the highly anticipated ads that come with it.

As all eyes were glued to TV5, one 30 second spot certainly stole the show.

For Steve Hensley and Ashley Fikes, the commercial was a championship moment in their lives.

So how did we get to this point?

Herman Hiss and Company Jewelers in Bay City put out an all-call to men in Mid-Michigan who were ready to pop the question.

If they bought a ring they were entered into the Ultimate Proposal Sweepstakes.

Hensley was in.

"She's an amazing girl, couldn't live the rest of my life without her," Hensley said.

Hensley learned he won and in late January he worked with TV5’s promotions team to shoot the commercial which aired shortly before Coldplay took the stage.

He told TV5 then he was ready to go.

"Not nervous at all," Hensley said.

As halftime approached, it was clear his nerves had another plan. But as Hensley got down on one knee, the moment took over.

"That was perfect, I was not expecting that," Fikes said.
