One local school is helping another local school struggling with the Flint water crisis.

Arrowwood Elementary School in Saginaw Township is participating in a service learning project to bring safe drinking water to the Freeman Elementary School in Flint.

The school is hosting what they call Water Wednesdays. During the events community members can drop off cases of water to Arrowwood from 7:15 a.m. to 4 p.m.

They will also have a collection day on Feb. 27 from 8 a.m. to noon at the school.

All of the water collected during this drive will be donated to the Freeman Elementary School.
