Kyle Sroka said he's just your typical college student.

"I think it's kind of the norm honestly," Sroka said.

He studies hard and likes to have a few drinks in his free time.

"It's normal for college kids to have a drink or two or whatever," Sroka said.

It was likely more than just a drink or two that killed 23-year-old Jonathon Justice over the weekend. The CMU student was found dead at his apartment complex. He was last seen alive drinking.

"To me, I don't want to say it's his fault, but I think he let himself get too far or people let him go too far," Sroka said.

How do you stop yourself with an apartment full of alcohol? Sroka said his typical stash includes margarita supplies, beer and some flavored rum.

Sroka said, despite what it may seem, college students actually look out for each other.

The students make sure to cut each other off when enough is enough.

That's something that apparently didn't happen in Justice's case.

"I know what to do or what not to do if something happens," Sroka said.
