Holding back tears, Brenda Brown describes the agony she has gone through because of the Flint water crisis.

"I cry, all the time, because I don't know what to do," Brown said. "I had like half inch raised welts up off of my back. And I never had that until I take a shower. Take a shower, get out, it starts."

The Flint resident said because of the water coming out of the shower head, she's developed a severe rash.

She said she is forced to bathe elsewhere to avoid the intense burning and itching.

"If my girlfriend is not home in Burton, then I have to drive over an hour to my daughter's house to take a shower and start my day," Brown said.

A doctor diagnosed her with dermatitis, saying it occurred when the water supply was switched to and from Detroit to the Flint River.

The doctor also said it's not solely dry skin and that it could be due to chemicals in the water.

For now Brenda is taking things day by day.

But she now wonders if she'll be forced to leave the home she loves just to stay healthy.

"It puts me in a tough spot. Do I leave, or do I stay?" Brown said.
