Two people have been arrested, charged in connection with a string of breaking and enterings.

The Arenac County Sheriff’s Department reports that Terrence Klemmer, 24, from Au Gres, and Kathy Long, 57, from Au Gres, have been arrested in connection with a string of six breaking and enterings in Arenac County’s Whitney Township from December until February.

The arrests were made on Monday, with more search warrants leading to the recovery of 11 guns, ammunition, electronics and jewelry on Wednesday.

The items are worth about $10,000 and are believed to be from the Whitney Township homes.
