FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

People affected by the contaminated water will need special health care for years.

Now, a Grand Rapids nonprofit is stepping up to contribute.

Great Lakes Health Connect is giving $250,000 to connect all health care providers that service Flint residents.

It will link all Flint-area hospitals and doctors' offices, so they can provide better and more timely care.

The information will be immediately accessible to all health care providers in Flint.
