SAGINAW COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

A fire broke out in Saginaw County Friday morning, destroying a barn, and killing around a dozen pigs.

It happened on S. Raucholz Road near Lakefield Road in Fremont Township about 5:30 a.m.

Several fire departments responded and found the barn had already collapsed.

About 12 pigs, and a large amount of hay were lost in the fire.

Crews were able to keep the flames from completely destroying two adjacent barns, although there was damage.

No one was hurt, the cause is still under investigation.
