Bus driver injured in morning crash

FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

A bus driver was injured in an accident Tuesday morning.

The school bus was involved in an accident with another vehicle about 6:50 a.m. at the intersection of Davison Road and Iowa Avenue in Flint.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital. The driver of the bus is listed in good condition. The other driver has been released.

The 23 students on board were not injured during the incident.

The bus is from Flint Community Schools and was heading to Flint Southwestern Classical Academy, according to the district.

The students were transferred to another bus.

The driver of the vehicle was issued a citation for a suspended license, according to the city of Flint.

TV5 has a crew at the scene and is working on gathering more information.
