GENESEE TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -

A meth lab was busted Monday night in Genesee County.

It happened on the 6400 block of Lewis Road in Genesee Township.

Jason Larson lives next door to the home and says this has been an ongoing problem.

“It’s pretty frustrating because you know, we got three little kids that live here," Larson said. "And he has no concern for any well-being of any of the neighbors around here.”

Michigan State Police were executing a felony search warrant when they say they came upon the meth lab.

“In the kitchen area there was actually some drain cleaner. Coffee filter with residue on it. A piece of paper, that coffee filter had the residue on it. There were papers on the coffee table with residue on it that looked like methamphetamine,” said MSP Spokesperson Lt. David Kaiser.

Officials aren’t releasing the name of the suspect until he is arraigned.

Larson said he wants him put behind bars for a long time. And he wants order restored to his quiet community.

“It’s a nice neighborhood and we like living here, so hopefully it can get fixed,” Larson said.
