The water crisis has not only afflicted Flint's residents, but also its businesses.

The Flint and Genesee Chamber of Commerce hosted a forum to educate business owners on how to access state and federal loans.

A panel of experts at the Flint Small Business Assistance forum also talked with business owners about entrepreneurial training, hiring support and exporting among others.

Creative Hair school co-owner Corinthian Carouthers II said she went to see what's out there.

"Get a glimpse of what the community is planning on doing to help the businesses in the area. I know there are a lot of resources here and just to get an idea of what's available," Carouthers said.
