According to Detroit Police, a suspect in an Amber Alert, Marcus Hightower, has turned himself in.

He walked into a Detroit police station and surrendered this morning.

A 4-year-old girl is the subject of an Amber Alert issued shortly after 2 a.m. on Saturday.

Savannah Walker was last seen in Detroit.

The suspect, according to the National center for Missing and Exploited Children, is Marcus Hightower, 33.

The Associated Press reports Hightower is the girl's mother's boyfriend.

They are traveling in a 2004 black Ford Explorer with Michigan license plate DFJ5377.

Detroit Police Chief James Craig told the Associated Press on Saturday morning investigators are working to determine whether the bodies discovered in an east side abandoned Detroit home appear to be those of Savannah and her mother.

Savannah was reported missing on Tuesday to authorities in Livingston County.

Craig said the connection between the cases is possible, but not confirmed at this point.

If you see these two or know anything about their whereabouts, contact Michigan State Police at 269-792-2213.
