Jessica Keller answers calls for Mike's Wrecker in Saginaw.

"It's been really hectic today. As you can tell the phones have been ringing non-stop," Keller said.

The towing service is running at full speed in an effort to free motorists stuck in the deep snow.

"They think oh my car can do it. Your car can't do it. Big trucks are stuck. Everybody is getting stuck right now," Keller said.

TV5’s cameras found people getting stuck all over the area, including the person driving this Waste Management truck.

"I only got like 20 minutes left on the route," said John Overly.

Overly's recycling route for Waste Management came to a halt on 23rd and Monmouth streets.

"I got stuck. I tried to back my way out of it and I noticed I was getting close to the telephone pole on the other side over there so I figured I’d better stop right now and not try anymore," Overly said.

Just down the street Tarsha Hulett said she had a close call with another vehicle.

"To keep from having a collision we, you know, went down the ditch," Hulett said.

Hulett ended up getting stuck there and waited for help to arrive.

Hulett said driving in these conditions is difficult.

"You just never see it coming before you get stuck," Hulett said.

Keller said Mike's Wrecker won't stop until every car is freed from the snow's slippery grip.

"We're 24 hours so we're here all the time. We do what we have to do to get the stuff done so if that means working a little bit longer then we work a little bit longer," Keller said.
