SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

Both Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders are highlighting the Flint water crisis in their latest campaign ads.

With a little over a week until the Michigan primary both campaigns are making a win in Michigan a priority.

“Very exciting time we will be running all across the state here as we get done with Super Tuesday so you're going to see the senator in a lot of places across the state,” said Ryan Hughes.

Hughes is with Bernie Sanders’ Michigan campaign office.

"We've got strong unions here in state, something Sen. Sanders has fought for his entire life so we're excited about our prospects,” Hughes said.

According to the latest polls, Hillary Clinton is predicted to win the Michigan primary. Her national political director, Amanda Renteria, is encouraged by the prediction.

"Not only have we had folks on the ground but from the very beginning we've come to a lot of the political leaders and elected leaders to talk about how we engage with Michigan, how we make sure we have enough policies that help Michigan and what kind of visits and events we should be doing," Renteria said.

Clinton and Sanders will face off in Flint for a CNN debate on March 6.

The Flint water crisis of course is expected to be the major topic.
