CLIO, MI (WNEM) -

A local school district loses two coaches in less than a week after they passed away unexpectedly.

Coach Lyndsey Piesko, 29, died on Feb. 26 from what is believed to be a medical condition.

Clio Area Schools Superintendent Fletcher Spears tells TV5 that Piesko complained of a breathing problem and called her parents to pick her up. As they were on the way to the hospital she stopped breathing and died.

Piesko had been a volunteer coach for all levels of the girl’s volleyball teams.

Just days later the district lost another coach. Coach Tim Hibbard, 54, known as ‘Hibb’, passed away.

Spears tells TV5 he was outside using his snowblower on Tuesday. When his wife went to check on him she found him slumped over the machine, unresponsive.

“Hibb” was a paid employee, and coached the boy’s JV basketball and football teams since 2006.

A moment of silence will be held for the coaches before the freshman, JV and Varsity boy's basketball games tonight.

Piesko's funeral takes place March 4 at Frankenmuth United Methodist Church.

Hibbard's funeral takes place March 8 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral.
