FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

U.S. Rep. Dan Kildee had some strong words for Gov. Rick Snyder.

"These people deserve you to step up and make right what you did to the people of Flint," Kildee said.

He led a congressional delegation to Flint on Friday. The Vehicle City is still dealing with a water crisis.

"What has happened here, what has happened to flint is really heartbreaking to me personally," Kildee said.

At a press conference, Kildee and 25 other legislators re-affirmed their support for the people of Flint.

"We know that we have to act. We come here to listen, to learn, to act upon what we put together after this. So that we can give hope and healing," said U.S. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

The group also took part in what they called a “speak out,” which allowed residents to voice their concerns about the water crisis.

Kildee insists Snyder isn't doing enough to help Flint. He wants Snyder to tap into the state's rainy day fund. All in an effort to get clean water flowing through the taps again.

"He's got $1 billion that he doesn't know what to do with. We have some thoughts about what he should do with that money," Kildee said.
