SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

Michigan State Police said two people where shot on Wednesday night.

The shooting happened shortly before midnight, on Fitzhugh Street and N. Third Avenue in Saginaw.

A 26-year-old male and a 32-year-old male were shot and taken to the hospital. They suffered non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Police were unable to locate a suspect. They said they are searching for an unknown Hispanic male.

"These two victims make our eighth and ninth shooting victims for this year, and this is our second double shooting. We want people to be aware that these incidents were isolated incidents," Detective Sgt. Reggie Williams said.

The shooting is still under investigation.
