Man charged with attempted homicide, unlawful imprisonment

CLARE COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -

Two women were injured and a man was arrested after police responded to a domestic violence call.

It happened on March 10 in Clare County's Greenwood Township.

When officers arrived to the scene they heard several gun shots inside the residence, police said.

Shortly after that George Urdiales Jr., 46, of Harrison, was taken into custody.

There were two females inside the residence who received minor injuries from being assaulted, but neither was shot, police said. They were treated at the scene.

Urdiales was charged with 17 counts including attempted homicide, unlawful imprisonment, discharging a firearm in a building, assault with a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm by a felon, felony firearm, and domestic violence.

His bond was set at $1 million.
