FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

A local credit union teamed up with Hidden Harvest to deliver bottled water to the city of Flint on Thursday.

During the month of February, employees at Wildfire Credit Union paid cash to wear jeans to work, raising more than $1,000.

The money was used to buy six pallets of bottled water, which were dropped off at the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan this afternoon.

“It's actually working out well because they're delivering the water and then taking back food to the Hidden Harvest in Saginaw,” said Linda McGee.
