SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

The YMCA is expecting 500 students to attend an awareness event.

The Say Something Night takes place at the Saginaw YMCA on March 24.

The event is to alert students of human trafficking, suicide and bullying.

"We are equipping students with safe and practical tools so they can recognize the warning signs and if they need to, report suspicious behavior," the YMCA of Saginaw said.

Say Something is a program that more than 200 schools across the county participate in.

The March 25 event starts at 6:30 p.m. and is free to attend.
