SAGINAW TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -

You've likely driven by one of billboards up across Mid-Michigan or even received a flyer in your mailbox.

So what exactly is it all about?

"You definitely want to be on God's side during these times," said attendee Monique Gilbert.

It is part of the Seventh Day Adventist Church's massive effort spread its message.

There are holding seminars at 200 different locations across Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana. The focus teaching people about the Book of Revelation.

The book that prophecies the second-coming of Christ and the end of times.

"I'm always interested in learning more about the Bible. And Revelation is a very difficult book to understand, so it's good to learn more," said Gerri Kevwitch.

Kevwitch was invited by a friend to attend the session held in Saginaw.

"I think we are seeing a lot of end times right now,” Kevwitch said.

Attendee Gina Wallace said, "With everything going on in the world, with politics, and the weather, you come to these classes and you can learn why. A lot of people are asking why."

Ethan Booms is an elder at Saginaw Seventh Day Adventist Church he led a local discussion.

"A lot of people might actually think about it as a book of doom and dread, but there's a lot of hope in Revelation, and we want to spread the message to the world," Booms said.

And throughout the month of April, they'll have several more seminars on the Book of Revelation here at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Saginaw. They said spreading the word is the most important thing.
