The standing water left behind is a big headache for a lot of people.
But Andy and Jo Anderson of Bay County's Monitor Township said it's an all too common problem for them.
Their yard is under water, just as it is every time there's a heavy rain.
They said there's not enough drainage, and their calls to township leaders have gone unanswered.
"They always pass the buck to somebody else," Andy Anderson said. "They've been out here looking in the summer, when it is dry. 90 degrees. No weather. Anything. I can't get them out here when it's flooded, any of them, it's always when it's dry."
TV5 contacted the Bangor Township supervisor and the drain commissioner, and they promised to try to resolve the issue.
