FLINT TOWNSHIP, MI (WNEM) -

Police are asking for your help tracking down a man who allegedly stole a gun.

It happened on April 6 at 10:22 p.m. in Flint Township.

Police were called to the Marathon gas station at 1205 N. Ballenger Highway for a robbery.

That’s when a 26-year-old woman said she was walking from the store to her car, and a man pushed her up against the vehicle. She claims the man then took her pistol, which was in a holster attached to her hip. The victim, who is a valid CPL holder, was not hurt.

The man, who is between 6’ and 6’2” was wearing a blue hoodie and basketball shorts. He got into a black Chevrolet Monte Carlo with silver or gray trim along the bottom of the door.

The vehicle was last seen traveling southbound on N. Ballenger Highway.

Surveillance cameras inside the gas station took pictures of the suspect prior to the robbery.

If you have any information, call the Det. Sabo at (810) 600-3250. Or Crime Stoppers at (800) 422-JAIL.
