FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

Three new water distribution sites are now open.

Each one is staffed by Flint residents, hired using state funding and coordinated by Michigan Works.

Workers said they have plenty of water for anyone who needs it.

"We have over 2,400 cases of water so whatever families need," said Latonya Walker. "If a family has five people in the household we give out 10 cases, we try to do at least two cases per person in the household."

The new sites will allow fire stations to eventually end their water distribution and return to normal operations.

The new sites are the light blue pins. The fire station sites are the red pins.
