A two-car crash sends a pair of drivers to the hospital.

It happened April 18 at 8:59 a.m. at the intersection of East Pleasant Valley Road and Wise Road in Isabella County.

Deputies say that Kody Meyer, 24, of Shepherd, was driving westbound on Pleasant Valley road when he failed to stop at a stop sign. Investigators say he went through the sign, and was hit in the intersection by Chad Wentworth, 36, of Riverdale.

Wentworth was taken to MidMichigan Medical Center in Alma for chest and leg pain.

Meyer was airlifted by Flight Care of Saginaw to Midland Hospital with facial cuts and back and stomach injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
