One person that has been critical of the governor at times has been Flint Mayor Karen Weaver.

What did she think of the governor's move to drink Flint water for a month?

Some residents said Snyder's pledge is similar to throwing salt on their wounds. They said they are not impressed by Snyder's pledge to drink filtered Flint water for the next 30 days.

"Lucky for him that he can drink the water because we have been dealing with this for two years," Weaver said.

Weaver won't commit to the idea the filtered water is safe to drink.

"We've heard people tell us we can drink it before, but this is like de'ja vu. I am not gonna tell anybody to drink the water. Now if people want to follow what the governor is doing, that's on them. Because I'm gonna say don't drink the water until we know it's safe," Weaver said.

Snyder wasn't the only official she directed her disapproval at.

Many believe Utah Senator Mike Lee is responsible for federal dollars being held up in the nation's capital.

"One of the things we can do is give him a call and I would like to give his phone number so you can make that call. It's 202-224-5444. And tell Senator Lee to get up off of it," Weaver said.
