MT. PLEASANT, MI (WNEM) -

The Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mt. Pleasant has re-opened after evacuating late Thursday night after receiving bomb threats.

The public relations director with the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe says that the first call came in at around 10:15 p.m., and a second at 10:45 p.m.

Both calls were apparently made by a woman.

Officials began evacuating roughly 2,500 patrons and employees from the facility at around 11:30 p.m.

The Michigan State Bomb Squad and other local police K9 units searched the facility, but nothing was found.

The situation was cleared at around 5:30 a.m.

A person of interest has been identified.

The casino re-opened shortly before 10 a.m.
