SAGINAW, MI (WNEM) -

Today is National Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day.

The yearly event is celebrated on the fourth Thursday in April.

It’s an education program founded in 1993 where parents take their children to work with them for the day and give them some insight into what goes into their job.

The day actually started as Take Our Daughters to Work Day, but was expanded to include boys in 2003.

Here at TV5 we’re taking part in the unofficial national holiday. Here are a couple of the child/employee combinations we’ve seen around the office.
